Buninyong Oval

Pitchcraft were awarded the contract to reconstruct Buninyong Oval for City of Ballarat - an oval which had previously exhibited poor drainage and inconsistencies throughout. Extremely difficult conditions were encountered during drainage installation which posed challenges for all parties involved. Pitchcraft is acutely aware of challenges that can arise during excavation of 'old' sites, despite thorough testing. Through honest and transparent negotiation with drainage contractor and client, these challenges were overcome and the project was delivered successfully.

Throughout completion of this project it became clear of the importance of this sports field to the local community. Interest shown from all passerby, as well as by associated clubs was palpable and Pitchcraft are pleased to have been able to deliver a premium field to the great community of Buninyong.
