Alfredton Reserve

Pitchcraft undertook the Alfredton Reserve reconstruction in parallel to Eureka Stadium and North Oval No.2 for City of Ballarat. The full reconstruction included subgrade, spoon drain, fence, drainage, irrigation, growing medium and turf. Difficulties encountered upon excavation of subgrade material where conditions were swamp like. However, patience amidst inclement weather during a cold and wet Ballarat winter paid off and a solid subgrade was achieved, allowing Pitchcraft to continue to construct a first grade field.

Alfredton Reserve is home to Ballarat-Redan Cricket Club and the Ballarat Football Club in the BFL.
